Symbols in saracura jewelry

I use a lot of symbols in my designs. I feel they enhance and support the gemstones.Here is a list of some of the symbols I use.

108 – There are so many reasons why Malas use 108 beads. Very interesting!

 – One who is awake, having ‘woken up to reality’. A Buddha is free from greed, hatred and ignorance, and characterized by wisdom, compassion and freedom. Enlightenment brings insight into the deepest workings of life, and therefore into the cause of human suffering.

Elephant – Elephant’s medicine includes strength, royalty, connection to ancient wisdom, removal of obstacles and barriers, confidence, patience, using education opportunities, commitment, gentleness, communicating in relationships, discernment, intelligence, compassion.

Feather–  The symbolic meaning of feathers deal with ascension and spiritual evolution to a higher plane.

Flower of Life–  A geometrical figure composed of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles, that are arranged so that they form a flower-like pattern with a sixfold symmetry like a hexagon. The center of each circle is on the circumference of six surrounding circles of the same diameter. It is considered to be a symbol of sacred geometry, and contain ancient, religious value depicting the fundamental forms of space and time. It is a visual expression of the connections life weaves through all sentient beings.

Ganesh  Ganesh, also known as Ganapati, is the god of wisdom and learning, as well as the remover of obstacles, and new beginnings. Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha.

Hamsa  A protective sign. It brings happiness, luck, health, and good fortune.

Infinity Symbol  The infinity symbol ∞, also called the lemniscate, is a mathematical symbol representing the concept of infinity. It is used to express that some things have no limit.

Lotus – Simply embrace the lotus and engage in its power to purify, harmonize and stabilize your energy. Lotus makes the very best of a grimy situation. Lotus refuses to be put down. Lotus insists on growing, and growing with class.

OM  is a sacred syllable representing Brahman — omnipotent, omnipresent, and the source of all manifest existence. It is the basic sound of the world and said to contain all other sounds.

Owl Medicine  As a power animal, Owl encourages you to develop your intuitive abilities and inner senses, and to seek the knowledge that is hidden from most people. Owl is associated with clairvoyance, astral projection, and magic & is a symbol for wisdom because Owl can see that which others cannot.

Seed of Life – The Seed of Life is a primary building block of the Flower of Life, from which comes forth the Fruit of Life. Another blueprint for everything, the Fruit of Life creates all elements, molecules, organisms, and even everything else in the universe. In other words, everything that abides in reality comes from the form of the Seed of Life.

Snake – Symbolizes Kundalini, a primal energy, or shakti, located at the base of the spine. It is a sleeping, dormant potential force in the human organism. Kundalini can be awakened by shaktipat – spiritual transmission by a Guru or teacher – or by spiritual practices such as yoga or meditation.

Spiral  In terms of spirituality, the spiral symbol represents the path leading from outer consciousness to the inner soul and cosmic awareness.

Tree of Life  Symbolizes the interconnection of all life on our planet and the flow of creation from the Divine to Earth and back to the Divine. Fire, Earth, Air & Water all combine theirforces to create the life giving power of the tree of life. From fire comes the power of the sun that imbues the tree with living light. From earth comes the nourishment of the roots. From water comes vital essence.From air comes exchange with the environment that benefits us all.
