Jasper - Dalmation
Dalmation Jasper is the trade name for Dalmation Stone, which is not Jasper but rather a combination of Feldspar and Quartz. It is opaque, creamy white to pale gray or beige, with inclusions of iron oxide, tourmaline and other minerals. These inclusions create black and brown spots that resemble the random patterns found on its namesake, the Dalmation dog breed. It is believed to encourage emotional harmony and strengthen relationships.

Jasper - Red
Red Jasper is an aggregate of microcrystalline quartz and/or chalcedony and other minerals. The opaque stone’s red color is due to high iron content, while other impurities in the stone may create veining and rich patterns. Ancient Egyptians believed Red Jasper to be connected to the fertilizing blood of Mother Isis, and used it to create amulets to be buried with the deceased. Banana Seeds
Banana seeds grow in Southern China and Northern Thailand. They are harvested once a year in September. You have probably never seen a banana seed this large!
Rinse in water to remove any residual dust. The seeds are a prefect organic product to use with essential oils.

Bayong Wood
Bayong wood is considered a hard wood and is abundant in the Philippines. Jewelry making is one of the important uses of this natural wood. Bayong wood has been used mainly for lumber. Little sheets of leftover lumber are then used to make beads and sold to jewelry makers. Round wood beads are great to use as spacers in jewelry.

Bodhi Tree Wood
These seeds come directly from a bodhi tree. The bodhi tree is a type of tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment. Hence bodhi seeds are highly valued and said to enrich the mind. The scriptures state that mantras chanted using the bodhi seed mala will be multiplied infinitely. A bodhi seed mala can also be used for any of the four principal enlightened activities of pacifying, increasing, magnetising and subjugating. They can also be used for practices of both peaceful and wrathful deities.

Black Ebony wood comes from ebony tree indigenous of the Philippines. Harvest of ebony trees in the Philippines follows some rules. The government implements this rule so this hard wood tree will not be over harvested. Ebony wood has a deep lustrous shine to it that makes it a good source for jewelry making.

Nangka wood
Nangka tree is a fast growing tree and bears fruit within its first year. Tree is abundant in countries in Southeast Asia like the Philippines. Wood has a natural yellow color with fine grains visibly seen in brownish lines. Round beads are greatly useful as spacers in jewelry making.

This redwood bead comes from a sibucao tree indigenous of Asian countries like the Philippines. It is not the same specie as the great redwood in the US. Sibucao is naturally red in color that produces a reddish dye used in fabrics. Round wood beads are great to use as spacers in jewelry.

Rosewood, locally known as malabkhaw also known as magtalisay is a tree that is abundant in the Philippines. You can see these luxuriant tree growing beside a main street on the back roads of the Philippines. Rosewood as commonly known in the bead industry has a soft rose color.

Rudraksha
Rudraksha are dried stones or seeds of the Elaeocarpus. These stones serve as prayer beads for Hindus (especially Shaivas), Buddhists and Sikhs. When they are ripe, rudraksha stones are covered by an inedible blue outer fruit so they are sometimes called "blueberry beads”
The stones are associated with Shiva and are commonly worn for protection and for chanting mantras such as Om Namah Shivaya. They are primarily sourced from India, Indonesia, and Nepal.
